With a quick flick of the handy thumb lever, the HIPSHOT Bass Extender Key instantly expands your range without leaving position.
Tunable to any note from "E" to low "C" - suitable for '66 and newer Fender except some '82-'84's and some '90's and newer, and some Kramers.
Hipshot includes installation instructions and mounting hardware with the BT2 Bass Extender.

Just saved me the cost of a 5 string bass. Drops down to a C with no problem. staying in tune all the while - and I'm sure it would be good to go lower still.
