Bass Centre 'Bass Cables'

When it came to making our own dedicated ‘Bass Cables’ the conclusion was unanimous - they had to be the best! And why wouldn't they be? With years of hands-on experience as live players and over a quarter of a century of product knowledge in the Bass Centre we couldn’t go wrong!

For the cable we turned to the experts at Van Damme - a company with an undisputed reputation for supplying the major performing and recording artists around the world. Their client roster includes the likes of; The Foo Fighters, Keane, Kings Of Leon, Muse, The BBC, Abbey Road, Glastonbury among others.

For ‘Bass Cables’ we chose the Van Dam ‘Pro Grade OFC’ instrument cable. OFC or ‘Oxygen Free Cables’ high quality cable which can accommodate the modern day demands of studio and stage. The cables themselves are super flexible, easy to coil and come with an ultra convenient cable tie ready attached.

Next we needed the connectors and the only name we could trust to do the job was Neutrik. As every bass player knows your cables are only as good as your connectors, so the worlds leading provider of pro level entertainment connectors were the only choice.

Each ‘Bass Cable’ comes with one straight quarter inch jack connector (Neutrik NP2X-B) and one angled quarter inch connector (Neutrik NP2RX-B ) A right angled connector will ensure that the cable lies flat against the body reducing the chance of damaging the cable or your out put. What’s more you can loop the cable between your strap and your bass for added security.

Each end connector features a heavy duty professional phone plug with gold contacts for less noise or ‘pop’ when connecting. This is all housed with in a stylish black ultra modern and highly robust die cast shell.
