Full Contact Hardware is an innovative electric guitar and bass saddle solution featuring the patented "eCAM" saddle system, designed by Jeff Babicz, that offers a dramatic improvement to sustain, tonal quality & performance. Full Contact Hardware technology results in increased dynamic range, better sustain and pitch stability as well as providing easy and accurate string height and intonation adjustments which, with the ability to fully “lock down” the bridge saddles, remain secure, even when removing the strings.
A direct replacement upgrade for Fender Precision or Jazz style bass bridges, the Babicz FCH-4 Bass Bridge mounts with the standard Fender 5 hole screw pattern and can be installed in minutes - in right or left handed configuration. The FCH-4 comes complete with all necessary screws and an adjustment wrench, with comprehensive, step-by-step installation instructions available in an online video presented by Jeff Babicz... simply click on the "Videos" tab above to view, or visit the FCH website.
Jeff Babicz designed FCH with the intent of gaining the maximum amount of direct string coupling to the body of the instrument. The result is an extremely lightweight bridge (105g/3.7oz) that makes "full contact" between the vibrating string and the instrument's body and provides over 50 times more contact surface per saddle compared to conventional saddle designs.
With FCH, string height or "action" can be set with more far more precision than with traditional saddles. The "eCAM" saddle allows for instant action adjustments, without introducing space or air-gaps, ensuring complete contact between the saddle and the body of the guitar. The tiny, string height adjustment screws associated with traditional bridge systems are eliminated so that, with the Babicz FCH design, the saddle can never "sink" or "shift" while playing.
In addition, each "eCAM" saddle also includes a specially designed “String Height Lock”, which keeps your string height setting in place… even during extreme saddle vibrations over time. Similarly, precise intonation adjustments are also easily attained - and maintained, with the FCH Bass Bridge's unique “Saddle Housing Lock” feature.
1. A traditional saddle only relies on two very small contact points to couple the string to the instrument's body.
2. A traditional saddle has undesirable voids under the saddle, resulting in poor conductance of tone & sustain.
Babicz eCAM Saddle
1. The Babicz eCAM saddle offers 50 times more contact surface compared to a traditional saddle.
2. The eCAM saddle never shifts or introduces space below the saddle... even during string height adjustments.

"I'm extremely happy with these Babicz bass bridges, and my Fender basses have never sounded better! The qualities in a good bass bridge for me are accurate intonation, adjustability with a solid and reliable design. Also, I mute the strings with the edge of my hand at the bridge a great deal, so comfort is also important. There are no annoying sharp edges and aesthetically the bridges looks great too!"
Since 2011, Los Angeles based session and touring bassist Jesse Stern has equipped his Fender basses with Babicz FCH Bridges.

Super solid, and it has a great tone. Keep up the good work!"
Alongside full-time gigs for heavy metallers Armored Saint as well as progressive metal band Fates Warning, Joey keeps a busy schedule as independent producer & session bassist (including a 2004-2005 touring stint replacing Frank Bello as Anthrax).

“Super solid design mixed with quite a few options makes this bridge a force to be reckoned with! This thing is super stable with every adjusting element locking in place. It’s road worthy... AND studio worthy.”

An excellent product. Fitted one to my JB about 2 years ago. Now treating my P bass to one. Bass Centre always a pleasure to do business with. Many thanks again Bass Centre.
Great product and service. Bass Centre rocks!
Excellent product... rock solid, easily adjusted and easy to fit - watch the video on You Tube. Vast improvement over standard Fender Bridge.
I bought this to fit on my Yamaha RBX375, together with Gotoh tuners and flatwound strings. WOW!! What a difference. The bridge was so easy to fit and set up was also very easy. I had difficulty finding a good bridge that would fit the Yamaha but this one just went straight on. The only very minor issue was that the outer two of the original fixing holes are ever so slightly visible under the rear corners of the Babicz baseplate, but you do have to look hard... so not really a problem. I would recommend this bridge for quality, functionality and general finish. It's also a good bit of bling for the money!
As everyone else has said before me, an excellent bridge. It has improved the already great sound of my Jive Fretless & it was so easy to fit (even a drummer could do it... Hmm maybe not HA HA HA)... Thanx again, Bass Centre!
Excellent... replaced Badass II with on my Jazz with this puppy. More sustain, better string position and super accurate easy set up. One going on my P-Bass as soon as poss.
Not cheap, but improves the feel of my bass no end. Very easy to install, and built like a brick outhouse. Sending it without the box in a jiffy bag (so it fitted through my letter box) was also appreciated.
Very easy to fit once you've watched the Babicz video on YouTube. It has improved the sound of my Squier modified 70's Jazz. Once fitted, any intonation and string height adjustment was a piece of cake. The bridge comes with the correct allen key for the job, which makes life much easier.
Worth every penny. Really, really easy to set up and sounds amazing.
